This four-day event is loaded with high level Ultimate action, and off-field entertainment that results in an unforgettable weekend of intense sport and constant fun. Bringing both the most talented and the most spirited players from various corners of the world to Amsterdam.
The Windmill Tournament is an annual Ultimate Frisbee experiene held in Amsterdam. Windmill accepts 80 teams each year across three divisions; men, women's and mixed. With around 1800 players from all over the world it's the biggest Ultimate Frisbee tournament of Europa and one of the biggest in the world.
Every year Europe's legendary ultimate frisbee festival features a unique theme. The theme that sets the tone for the spirit, the decorations, and of course the parties. We've long kept themes a secret to surprise everyone at the start of the tournament. But this year we broke tradition so that everyone could join the fun. Our theme this year was "Cirque Freak du Chic" which means all curly moustaches, human cannonball skills, and oversized top hats could finally be unleashed on the dance floors. Think circus, think quirky and above all think early 20th century.
